From the moment you were conceived, God was forming you in your mother’s womb. From that moment until now, God has been working to form you into the person He created you to be…a masterpiece. You are God’s workmanship. He is seeking to make you into something marvelous. This incredible process, by which God teaches us to be more like Jesus, and the process by which we pass on those lessons to others…that process is called discipleship. We are not only called upon to learn, grow, change, and imitate Jesus…to be formed in the hands of the ultimate maker, but we are also called upon to be fellow makers that work in tandem with God.  In other words, we must be disciples and we must make disciples.

Using the example of making a cutting board, we will examine the four part process that God uses to make us into people who are more like his Son, Jesus.
