After the Wise County Republican and Wise Republican Women meeting Monday, we caught up with the four Senate District 30 candidates in attendance — District 68 Rep. Drew Springer (R-Muenster) , Decatur resident and engineer Andy Hopper, former Denton mayor and real estate investor Chris Watts and Dallas salon owner and Pilot Point resident Shelley Luther. We asked them 3 questions each: what should voters consider when entering the polls; with Wise County's unprecedented growth and the increasing number of municipal utility districts and special districts, what should be done; what's the next step for property tax relief.
