We received a request to base an episode on queer sci-fi - books, games, movies, you name it. The thing is, sci-fi is a relatively broad genre... there are so many sub-genres within the scope of science fiction. One such genre we look into is silk-punk! While investigating the open umbrella of LGBTQ sci-fi, we also stumble into anime, Japan, and Finn gets angry about Cyberpunk 2077.

Our friend Hannah also joins us to talk about queer imposter syndrome as someone who has never attended a pride event before due to being in a cishet-passing relationship. Hannah is an asexual biromantic individual who is shunned by friends and community alike for her identity.

If these are uncomfortable topics for you, you may want to skip this episode, or only listen up to 27 minutes in. However, it is a frank and informative episode, so we hope you stick around.

Finn and Arden talk about the long and bumpy history of LGBTQ rights in our state - from the worst treatment of homosexual men in the western world, to the best treatment of transgender individuals! What a transformation. Also in today's episode, we venture into intersex rights and polycystic ovarian syndrome.
