A river only causes a flood or overflow when the ground around it is already saturated...dry places only have flash floods - temporary overflow or excess.Proverbs 4:23 "Watch over & guard your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life...for it determines the course of your life."The condition of our heart, when His Word comes, will determine the authority & effectiveness that His Word will ultimately have in our lives.We must maintain well-watered soil in our hearts, so that we may be activated when He sends His Word.
