Message from the Heart - Making Room  

May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.  2 Thessalonians 3v5 (NLT)   

See 2Kings 4v8-10   

1. Making room for God begins with INVITING His PRESENCE.  

A wealthy woman lived there, and she invited him to eat some food… 2Kings 4v8 (NLT)   

2.  Making room for God is ENHANCED in COMMUNITY.  

She said to her husband, “I am sure this man who stops in from time to time is a holy man of God. Let’s make a little room for him…2Kings 4v9-10 (NLT)

And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near.  Hebrews 10v25 (NLT)   

3.  Making room for God includes CLEARING out SPACE.   

Let’s make a little room for him on the roof and furnish it with a bed, a table, a chair, and a lamp. Then he will have a place to stay whenever he comes by.”  2Kings 4v10 (NLT)
