Making Room - Week 1
(John 4:27-35) - Just then his disciples came back. They were shocked to find him talking to a woman, but none of them had the nerve to ask, “What do you want with her?” or “Why are you talking to her?” 28The woman left her water jar beside the well and ran back to the village, telling everyone, 29“Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could he possibly be the Messiah?” 30So the people came streaming from the village to see him. 31Meanwhile, the disciples were urging Jesus, “Rabbi, eat something.” 32But Jesus replied, “I have a kind of food you know nothing about.” 33“Did someone bring him food while we were gone?” the disciples asked each other. 34Then Jesus explained: “My nourishment comes from doing the will of God, who sent me, and from finishing his work. 35You know the saying, ‘Four months between planting and harvest.’ But I say, wake up and look around. The fields are already ripe for harvest.
Today - I am Making Room in My Heart for OTHERS.
2 Peter 1:3-9 – The more you grow like this, the more productive and useful you will be in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9But those who fail to develop in this way are nearsighted or blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their old sins.
What does Jesus see?
√ Why Make Room — LOST people matter to God.
Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.
√ Every BELIEVER Must Make Room for Others --- How?
Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. (1 Peter 3:15)
Step 1. Stay Connected with people.
Step 2. Share your story with people.
(Matthew 5:16) — “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Step 3. Invite them to Our place.
