1 Chronicles 22:5 – David said --- I will now make preparation …to build a place for the Lord that is exceedingly magnificent, famous and glorious throughout all countries.
1 Kings 9:3-4 NLT --- God told David’s son, Solomon, when he finished building the Temple --- “this place you have built where my name is honored forever. I will always watch over it, for it is dear to my heart.

We Purpose to Encounter God
- Church is a CONNECTION
- Church is a CONVERSATION
2 Corinthians 3:16-17 --- Whenever, though, they turn to face God as Moses did, God removes the veil and there they are—face to face!
We Enjoy Life!
John 10:10 --- The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
John 15:11 --- I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! 12This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.
1 Peter 3:10 – Love one another… For the Scriptures say, “If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies.
We Pursue Freedom.
Acts 8:20 --- 20But Peter replied, “May your money be destroyed with you for thinking God’s gift can be bought! 21You can have no part in this, for your heart is not right with God. 22Repent of your wickedness and pray to the Lord. Perhaps he will forgive your evil thoughts, 23for I can see that you are full of bitter jealousy and are held captive by sin.” 24“Pray to the Lord for me,” Simon exclaimed, “that these terrible things you’ve said won’t happen to me!”
- Actions – habits or sins that bind our life
- Attitudes – the way you think
- Attacks – from the enemy…he has you held captive
We Empower the People.
1 Peter 2:9 says, "You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, people who belong to God. You were chosen to tell about the excellent qualities of God, who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light."
Pastors are CALLED to do the LEADING…You are CALLED to be the MINISTERS.
Ps 92:13-14 --- Those who are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. 14 They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing… NKJV
WIN --- Find Your Purpose…Live your God-given Destiny
