Impulses pleasure is destructive. Over time, small impulsive behaviour compounds and before you know it you are in your own Hell 3 years down the line. What must we do? Sacrifice. The future is always daunting to us and full of threat but we can bargain with the instant gratification now and delay it to pay off later in life… On elf my favourite topics to talk about simply because it can be implemented into anybody's life so easily. Next time you want to spend money on something you don’t need or eat something you don’t necessarily want, or say something to someone and keep a promise you can’t keep, thin about how it will affect your life in the future.

Sacrifices feel good. Instant gratification does too. But they soon diverge into opposite paths. It’s up to us which one we’d like to follow.
