Last week we told you the story of how a group of high school students in Merritt were turned down by city council when they requested to paint a rainbow crosswalk. That story struck a chord with Jon McComb Show listener Brad Dirks. He is the father of a transgender son and an LGBTQ activist in Langley. Just last week, he successfully petitioned to expand the Safe Spaces program to Langley and his hoping it will grow into other cities as well.   Joining him is Stacey Wakelin - she formed the group Families for Inclusivity.
