Making Sense of Suicide with Aston Lang

Listen Later

This episode is going to cover a very important topic that does not receive enough attention, and in all honesty, it’s not something I claim to be the world expert in. We are going to discussing mental health and more specifically suicide. Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States and exceeds the number of deaths by homicide. This is a bigger issue than we realize.

My guest today is Aston Lang is a fellow podcaster who hosts On A Rock. A young adult’s guide to leaving home and experiencing the world and a guide to others who are in a hard place as a source of hope and inspiration.

Aston reached out to have a conversation about the uncomfortable topic of suicide. He recently lost a friend to suicide, and wants to make sure that those who are thinking of harming themselves or know someone who is, are aware of the resources available to find support.
