Making Tech More Diverse w/ Michelle Carrizosa
Michelle started her career in tech at Amazon. Prior to that, she had a Social Science degree from the University of Washington and a few years of customer-facing roles in Logistics and Retail. Once into Amazon, Michelle worked for teams like Transactions and Risk Management, Workforce Management, and Amazon Web Services. In 2020, Michelle left Amazon to start her own venture, the Tech Career Lab to fulfill her mission to diversify the face of tech through her work. She started by helping women professionals leverage their experience and skills to transition into the field of tech - now as she continues that work, she also is helping companies attract, hire and retain a diverse workforce.
