Many times in the Bible, God honors soldiers.  One soldier that Jesus mentioned by name (Luke 4:27) was Naaman.  He was a great soldier, but had an incurable disease -- leprosy.  He had an impossible situation, but God cured him.  God can make the impossible possible.
