In order for us to make the most of everyday in our lives, for the better.  We have to have a made up mind, that we are going to stand firm in the faith, adhering to the instructions that God, gives us and accepting the promises in which God; tells us that we can receive in him regardless of how things may be occurring throughout our lives. If we can do that, it is then we will be able to understand that we can have life and life more abundantly, and be able to make the most of everyday in our lives.
