The completion of a pharmacy degree is no small feat. A graduate pharmacist’s internship can be an extremely enriching experience and an important professional milestone. With the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020 was a challenging year for everyone, especially for interns.

In today’s episode we catch up with Amira, community pharmacist & Regulatory Affairs associate in the Pharmaceutical industry. Just over a year ago we did an episode with Amira- where she had recently graduated pharmacy and at the time was starting out her pharmacy internship, split between community and industry.

Now a full registered pharmacist-  super excited as Amira comes back and shares her experience of how her unique graduate pharmacy internship went. Amira also opens up about how her intern journey went amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, working in both community pharmacy and industry.
