Editorial Reviews:
This short course is a recorded seminar from the Center for Skillful Means, a teaching and coaching startup that applies the principles of Tibetan Buddhism to business life. In this talk, senior director Arnaud Maitland discusses, in low-key tones, how to become more enlightened in everyday work activities. Subjects include developing your inner resources to focus on what matters, learning to be receptive to others, cultivating wisdom, and using work as an opportunity for personal growth. An ideal taster for those interested in the Skillful Means program, or those who just want to get more out of work.
Members Reviews:
An sketchy introduction to a 10 week course.
A few minutes into the presentation the speaker explains this is an introduction to a 10 week series of seminars on how to use the principles of Tibetan Buddhism to operate a successful business, and in addition to the seminars, 3 texts are required to get much benefit from the instruction. A variety of topics are briefly touched on, often with the comment that this will be dealt with more fully in the seminars.
This presentation would be more appropriate as a free advertisement for someone thinking of purchasing the whole seminar series with the texts, rather than as a stand alone audio book.
Enjoyable
Part of a series of live lectures. Well presented and the quality is excellent. somewhat difficult to see the sequence
Needs a book with it
This audio is part of a workshop given at some corporate event and refers to books you should have the whole way through. I'm going to ask for my money back.
