In order to trade successfully, especially as a part-timer, you need to cut the fat and make the systems that are out there work for you. Find ways to make it fit into your lifestyle. There are loads of successful trading systems out there. The reason why traders fail is because they pick systems they think work but never consider if they can execute it or not. If you can find ways to make it work for you, you've got a shot.

Trade moving against you? Maybe that trade can be flipped. Maybe you can sell credit spreads in the opposite direction. Perhaps you may consider staggering your stop losses.
