Marriage is not the invention of societal evolution. The 3rd dispute in Malachi is centered around God being the one who institutes marriage and protects marriage. At every wedding, there are 3 people participating in this holy matrimony...the bride, the groom and God Himself. When we banish God from this God ordained institution we do it to our own detriment.
