Let's journey through the book of Malachi and see how his prophecy given by G-d not only applied to the times in which it was written, about 396 BCE, but how it all applies to the present day and the near future events which I believe are closer  than ever based on Matthew 24 and all that is taking place in our world today. We need to read and learn from the past lest we commit the same mistakes of those who relegated G-d to a lower priority in their lives, those who adopted a "holier than thou" attitude, or those who completely ignore G-d's Word for their own immediate self-gratifying lifestyle.
