Rorshok's weekly ten-minute update of stuff happening in Malawi. Despite a ban that prohibits spectators from watching the Olympics live at the Tokyo venue, 12 officials will escort Malawi’s five Olympic competitors. Discussions continue regarding labour relations with human rights’ campaigns calling for the President to veto the Labor Relations Act. In other news, the Tonse Alliance defends its recent appointments of family members to international posts, refuting any accusations of nepotism. Elsewhere, University of Malawi students staged protests, demanding the end of online schooling, citing exorbitant data packages. Malawi will now have access to the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, officials said this week. These stories, and much more!
