It’s a weird thing.
The most celebrated holiday in the entire world is Independence day. Since 1014, sixty-two countries have declared their independence from England. We – the United States – get the biggest bang for the buck for it. For the some twenty percent of the world, it’s a shared experience to throw off the yoke of the British Crown and decide for ourselves the destiny of the people.
