00:50 Malicious email shutting VoiceOver down by creating a buffer overload on iOS
devices and Mac computers. It is not a virus, but it does affect Apple TTS synthesizer.  Nuance voices such as Samantha seem to be immune to the buffer overload.

04:30 Clarification on free BookShare memberships. Currently, only available in New York State for NLS patrons who are blind and visually impaired and registered with the New York Public Library.

06:30 Writing an App Review using VoiceOver in the App Store appears to be broken.  Both Brian and Ed were unable to write reviews for Apps in the App Store.

09:25 Bian gives kudos to Facebook for accessibility. Loves the double-tap actions
and the rotor action settings. Trillion, Menu Tab and Current for Facebook on the Mac. Many low and no vision users access Facebook with the  www.m.facebook.com url on their computers.

17:30 iOS and Mac browsers.  We do have choices.  Safari, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. Firefox's sync feature for sharing bookmarks and passworded websites works well cross platform. Use master password to protect your information on shared computers.

29:00 VPN offers added security, especially when using public WiFi.  Allison prefers
TunnelBear VPN for iOS and PC. Ed uses proXPN VPN for his iOS devices and Windows computers.

32:10 Brian started using Launch Bar after listening to the Tech Doctor podcast. Great for newbies to the Mac.

34:32 Allison is now running El Capitan. She is not noticing any major issues since the last few updates. Mail seems to work really well in El Capitan.

37:32 HP Stream, great inexpensive laptop. Very powerful and runs JAWS, ZoomText  and NVDA well.

39:53 Google self driving cars. The potential freedom to move about independently is incredible.  Uber is nice, but the concept of a self driving car will help level the playing field for blind and visually impaired. Allison looks forward to an Apple autonomous vehicle.

53:30 Brian ventures over to the Dark Side, but returns from the land of Droid at warp speed. The Droid experience made Brian appreciate iOS and the apple ecosystem so much more. Once a fanboy, always a fanboy.

1:01:40 Capti Narrator did responnd to Brian's email and they are working to fix the accessibility issues with their App.
