Join Marilyn today as she tells you the story about how her parents, Danny and Marina arrived to America. They were newlyweds from Medellin, Colombia. They wanted to get serious about building a family, and America was the land of the free and the land of opportunity. Their journey to America and arriving undocumented was brave. She details how Danny escaped INS raids in the 80's. She dives into Marina's bravery in crossing the border undocumented TWICE. Marilyn and her sister Kelly are both first generation American. Throughout their life, they heard bits and pieces of their parents journey to America. It was now time to put those pieces together to detail this full story of the grit, bravery, and faith to stay together and strive for the American Dream.
