This episode is not one I wanted to record, but one I needed to in order to take care of my mental health, be the mom I want to be, and ultimately show up for you on this podcast the way that I want to.
I am going to be pausing the podcast and pausing my social media, for an unknown amount of time (hopefully not too long!), in order to do some much needed work on my mental health, my relationship with entrepreneurship, and my sense of identity.
This episode vulnerably shares what has led me to this very difficult decision and why I think it is best for me and my coaching clients and my family even though it comes with a ton of fears and worries.
Operating from integrity and authenticity is top priority for me, so I have to practice what I preach, listen to my intuition telling me I am out of alignment, take a step back, ask for help, get realigned, pivot and evolve, and step into the next chapter of my motherhood journey, business journey, and individual journey on a healthier, more sustainable foundation.
I firmly believe breakdowns lead to breakthroughs and right now I am in a breakdown phase so that I can learn, grow, release, evolve, and step into a new chapter helping others in a better way.
I really hope you listen to this episode and if you resonate with any of it, consider where you may need to take a pause in your life and know that it is okay to take a step back in order to take bigger steps forward in the future.
This isn’t goodbye, it is see you soon, and I can’t wait to find my way back here!

This episode is about 5 ways to stay more present and regulated during the holiday season. This can be a crazy time of year that brings up a lot of anxiety and stress and overwhelm. I am really working on staying present this season so I can experience more joy and memories so I wanted to share some tips and strategies to help all moms do the same.
“The ultimate prize is that quality time with your family and the memories. And it doesn't matter how simple or imperfect those are. They don't need perfection to be incredible.” - Kassy
This episode is about overcoming the feeling of not being enough, doing enough, and achieving enough so you can feel worthy and enough as a mom and an individual. I talk about inherent worthiness versus earned worthiness and how you are born worthy but the stories, expectations, and beliefs we are exposed to as children and throughout our life form belief pathways about what success is and what doing enough is and what we have to do and achieve and become to be considered worthy.
We have to recognize the belief pathways we have been passively letting run the show in our mind and instead choose intentional belief pathways that support our connection to our inherent worhtiness and align with how we want to live our lives. This episode includes a special treat with a guided meditation on feeling worthy, confident, and enough.
Connect with Kassy:As the holiday season approaches, we all know that pressure on us moms intensifies, sometimes triggering that overwhelming feeling of mom guilt.
In this episode, we steer away from generic advice and dive into impactful strategies to truly combat and release mom guilt's hold on your mindset. Recognizing that mom guilt often stems from deep-seated fears and absorbed expectations, I talk about how the power of rewriting your truth story is so powerful.
Find out the three keys to combat mom guilt this holiday season and take a step toward guilt-free, intentional holiday celebrations. And if you're intrigued by deep mindset work and clearing mental roadblocks, explore coaching possibilities by reaching out at [email protected].
Connect with Kassy:“Yes, those thoughts and fears are yours, but I don't have to take them on as my own. It's like you're standing guard at your mind and protecting what you let in and what you don't let in. Because during this holiday season, especially it's so important.” - Kassy
In today's episode, I tell you all about how I applied and got accepted into a reality TV show for entrepreneurs! The cake on top for me: It's created and hosted by Wes Bergmann from MTV’s The Challenge! Fast forward through a whirlwind casting process...I overcame my fears, doubts, and mom guilt to take a chance on myself and my dreams. And I am SO glad I did!
Through this experience, I found my voice, my power, and my identity again. I found a spark that I had lost track of. I learned so much about entrepreneurship and built a belief in myself as a business owner that I had been missing. I got validation that what I am trying to do in the world matters. Sometimes us moms need to hear that.
I wanted to share my key takeaways and reflections from this experience that I think all moms need to hear and can benefit from. I hope these takeaways help you find your voice, your power, and your spark again as well. The world needs your light in it and I am here to be a voice to remind moms that you matter, your dreams matter, and you are worthy of taking up space and having a voice.
No spoilers though…you’ll have to watch the whole thing to see if I win. (promise it will be worth checking out!)

“Everything We Want and Desire Is Going to Be an Unknown. It’s Going to Be Outside of Our Comfort Zone Because if It Wasn’t, We Would Already Have It..” - Kassy
This episode is about how challenging it can be to show up as mom and be what everyone needs from you when the world or your world feels heavy. As moms, I truly believe we become much more empathetic than the average person (one of our superpowers and one of our challenges) so when the world feels heavy, we really feel that.
You are still human mama, you still feel just like everyone else does. It can be so hard to feel helpless and unsure how to navigate these heavy times, so you have to be extra vigilant to protect yourself, protect your energy and make sure to give yourself some extra love and self-care and time to fill your cups up.
You have to pour into others extra during times like this so it’s more important than ever to try and replenish your cups as best you can. This episode is meant to be from my mama heart to yours and feel like a big hug saying you’re not alone, I know this is hard, you’re allowed to admit it is hard, take care of yourself and you’re not in this alone.
*this is not a political episode or expressing any particular viewpoint on world issues.
In today's episode, I'm sharing five powerful mantras for staying strong during life's turbulent moments. Mantras are not a magic solution to all problems, but they do serve as tools for resetting and reframing negative thought patterns.
Stay encouraged with these 5 mantras and try them out these mantras in stressful or anxious situations to see how they can help reset and refocus.
Connect with Kassy:“Mantas are fantastic for like a reset, an interruption, a pause in the negative rabbit hole that we often go down, and they are really good at helping you to recalibrate yourself before you go down that dark and not-so-pleasant rabbit hole of despair” - Kassy
This episode shares the importance of Belief Pathways in shaping the results we get in our lives, careers, and businesses. Everything starts with our beliefs and ultimately those beliefs lead to our thoughts, our feelings, our actions, and our results.
By understanding belief pathways and optimizing them, we can be more in control of the results we get in our lives and the success we find. We can increase confidence, become more resilient, pivot during challenges and roadblocks, and maintain progress forward on our goals even when challenged. We can also be more in control over the fears, doubts, and anxieties we feel and how much of an impact they have on our goals and lives.
Working on optimizing our belief pathways can lead to true long-term transformation of our mindset which is why it is such important work.
Connect with Kassy:“At first, you're always going to want to default back to what you've known, back to those belief pathways that have been built in there for a really long time. They can be strong. The more that you replace them with new empowered ones, the more that will become your new normal.” - Kassy
In today's episode, I explain how to cope with the anxiety, guilt, and worry when you want to be everything for your kids, partner, and friends all at the same time, but just simply can’t.
You are a human being mama, NOT just a mom. You are complex and have so many parts to your identity and so many roles that you serve. You really don’t have to be everything to everyone all at the same time.
Key takeaways from this episode:
“So it's all interrelated and by you doing things for yourself and showing up in these different ways and maintaining this identity as a whole complex human being, you actually show up as a better mom.” - Kassy
This episode will air a few days before my birthday so I wanted to do an episode on some of the top takeaways and life lessons I gained from year 33 that I thought would help other mamas too. This has been a big year for us. We moved cross country, I changed careers, started my podcast, and all while raising a daughter from year 1 to 2. If you have kids you know A LOT of growth happens in years 1 -2 so it’s been an interesting journey.
I have really come to realize that as our kids are growing and developing and evolving, so are we. We have just as much growth as them and that is pretty incredible. So year 33 really taught me:
“Sometimes our relationships have to go through seasons and they do bloom again. And, they can be even more beautiful than they were before.” - Kassy
