A 26-year-old man from Redcliffe died in a head-on collision on the Bruce Highway at Burpengary after a white Isuzu truck travelled southbound in the northbound lanes. Phone video captured the truck racing down the wrong way moments before the fatal impact with a Honda. The truck driver sustained life-threatening injuries and was hospitalised, while witnesses reported seeing multiple vehicles in pursuit of the truck prior to the crash.
