Management in the Entertainment Industry

Is this a good idea or a bad idea? I discuss what Joe Rogan had to say about this and what my experience was back in my acting days...and even still now. People want rights to your content because they want your money. He talked about how it is important to keep ownership of your own content, and you are better off doing it ALONE than having management to sponsor you. Keep your money, honey! Anyone in the entertainment industry should hear this.
