Our society says life is about gratifying our desires. Distorted spirituality says life is about eliminating desires.

While we must be willing to say no to desires that interfere with following or pleasing God, we can be certain God hasn’t planted wrong desires in us.

When God plants desires in our hearts, they lead us to become more loving, more joyful, less vulnerable to temptation, and more filled with gratitude.
