Josephine Atluri, is a California mom of five who’s now managing her brood’s quarantine while working from home. Atluri is a certified meditation teacher who emphasizes stress management and self care. In her podcast “Responding to Life,” she offers models for handling adversity, including her own fertility struggles through IVF, adoption and surrogacy.

Atluri relies on meditation, simple breathing and other stress reduction techniques in her daily parenting, especially with her kids, ages 4 to 13, all at home. “Moms often forget themselves, but self-care is so very important right now,” she says.
