To Palmerston North in 1965, husband at Vet School. Built a house in new housing area and still there. Rural area. Riverdale School opened previous year. Slacks Road seen as far out of town. Grew up in Park Road. 2 car family in 1966, Heralds popular among vets. Family involvement in vet work. School as a centre for the area. School pool. Sailing at Foxton Beach. Holidays at the beach. 2 sons back here, one in US. 60th wedding anniversary.
