Amid a recent measles outbreak in Vancouver, a new survey found 70 per cent of parents believe in mandatory vaccinations for children entering school.  Twenty-four per cent say vaccinations should be a parent’s choice rather than mandatory. Alberta is investing a whopping $3.7 billion to lease 4400 oil carrying rail cars, and the infrastructure needed to load and unload them. While moving oil by train is considered far more dangerous than pipelines, Alberta says it’s pushing ahead with the plan as part of a ‘medium term’ solution while the future of the Trans Mountain pipeline remains in limbo.

Ottawa is being pressured by student groups from two universities in Ontario to stop Chinese students from angrily attacking them over their beliefs.
