Vicenta sent me a message asking if she could share her story for the very first time since leaving The Potter’s House CFM in 2020.

Vicenta’s story is her own personal experience and is shared in her own words allegedly.

She shares how she was sucked in by “the community” and gatherings that helped her loneliness after moving to Colorado.

But soon all her time and focus was demanded. She became a “leader’s wife” and then a “pastor’s wife” inside this highly authoritarian organization.

She claims she suffered suicidal tendencies while “pastoring” a baby church and pleaded for help but was denied compassion and was instead told to “suck it up”.

She admits her children is the only reason she continued and is still her with us today.

She shares her story without blame but with a desire to prove to others that may be wanting to leave The Potter’s House CFM but are too afraid that there is “life after The Potter’s House”.
