This is the first of our “Stereotype” series where @usamastandsup and @pranahaha interview various “brown” stereotypes to go beyond the cliches and engage real people to tell us their universally human stories. In this episode we interview Uber driver Jatin Jani. Jatin patiently endures our company while telling us his story of immigrating from Gujarat to New Jersey in the 80s—the hardships he faced and overcame to build a life for himself and his family, his perceptions of “stereotypes”, and even sings for us a bit.
