Washed Gods. Washed. Never Washed Up. We’ve been going strong with the interview portion of our podcast. This week we sat down with photographer & content creator Melissa Alexander. Also known as Phyllis Iller.  She’s known us for a long time. A friend of working class music group and all the aspects of our creative clan. So this interview came very naturally.  We talked about her creative process, pre & post pandemic. How she’s shaped her portfolio around highlighting black people & intimacy.  What parts of her creativity come from her upbringing? How her life and work balance makes teaching points for her daughter about structure?  And how she’s moving forward and expanding in a creative space.
