The Father wasn’t trying to save the old man. He sent Christ to replace him. Remake him. The new man, in the prototype of Christ, gives us the blueprint to follow, so that the old man, mankind 1.0, can upgrade to mankind 2.0. Today we have a choice of what version are we going to live in.
