Mantra of Dependent Arising (in Tibetan & Eng)

In this episode of the podcast, Geshe Sonam Ngodup explains the meaning of the 'Mantra of Dependent Arising' (Tibetan: Tendrel, Sanskrit: Pratitya-Samutpada). Geshe la teaches in Tibetan and his teachings are translated by Venerable Khedrup.

English Transliteration of Mantra: 

"OM YE DHARMA HETU-PRABHAVA HETUM TESHAM TATHAGATO HYAVADAT TESHAM CHA YO NIRODHA EVAM VADI MAHASHRAMANAH (YE) SVAHA"  

Meaning of the Mantra in English:

"All dharmas originate from causes. 

The Tathagata has taught these causes, 

And also that which puts a stop to these causes— This too has been taught by the Great Shramana."
