Manuel Meyer Tapes episodes

  • Bombay Sunrise (Rework)
Bombay Sunrise opens with soft light and slow movement.
Cool air, distant water, the city waking up in quiet layers.
The rework stretches time, letting warmth rise gently through calm textures and restrained rhythm.
A moment between night and day, familiar yet renewed.
Bombay Sunrise has arrived home in a clearer, softer form.
The artwork is inspired by opepen.art.

  • Black Rain (Rework)
Black Rain unfolds in a quiet, nocturnal atmosphere. Dark textures drift slowly, like rain falling through still air, grounded yet weightless. The rework reshapes familiar elements into a deeper, calmer form, letting space and restraint speak. A piece about return and arrival, steady and composed. Black Rain has found its way home.
The artwork is inspired by opepen.art.

  • 30.000
    English
This work translates a number into a physically experienced burden.
30,000 units become audible as 30,000 kick drums.
Ten beats per second over a duration of 50 minutes.
The sound is deliberately repetitive and demanding.
Not music in the classical sense, but an imposition.
What is central here is not time itself, but the perception of time through duration and repetition.
The number remains abstract until it becomes physical.
    Listening becomes exhausting, almost unbearable.
    That is where meaning emerges.
    Deutsch
    Genau dort entsteht Bedeutung.

  • Winter Sun (Rework)
Winter Sun captures a quiet moment in cold light. Clear air, a gentle wind carrying thoughts, while the sun hangs low and softens everything it touches. Floating melodies and newly shaped strings open the space, allowing warmth and coolness to exist side by side. A piece like a winter walk, when the light returns, calm, familiar, and unhurried. The winter sun has come home, in a gently reimagined form.
The artwork is inspired by opepen.art.
