It's hard to believe that a tiny religion from Jerusalem that started with about 120 people is now in nearly every major city and province in the Eastern Roman Empire-and the Eastern Empire was the richest and most heavily populated section of the Empire- but this is where we are when we read Acts 18. --Christians had been every-day faithful kind of Christians- praying, singing, giving, gathering, hearing the Word, preaching the Word, suffering...dying. Still, a heavenly candle lit by God will become a raging fire across the earth, and no government or riot can stop it burning. --That candle is the Church in Acts-the Church today-and that fire is still burning.--In Acts 18, there are reasons for Paul to feel beat down, but God cares for him. God will not let the candle be snuffed- he will fan it's flame anew.--How does God care for Paul-
