The FDA and Give and Go Prepared Foods Corporation are recalling muffins sold under the Uncle Wally’s, The Worthy Crumb,  Stop ’n Shop, 7 Eleven Selects, Freshness Guaranteed, Great Value, and Marketside brands.  These muffins are contaminated with listeria monocytogenes, a bacterium that causes severe and sometimes fatal infections in the young, old, and immunosuppressed.  It can cause miscarriages and stillbirths.  If you have any of these branded muffins, don’t consume them but return them to the point of purchase for a refund.  For more information and details about which specific products are involved, contact Go Prepared Foods by phone at 1-844-366-1171.
