Wie mache ich einen Podcast? – Mein Vortrag im Barcamp der Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft in der Polizeihochschule Fürstenfeldbruck bei München
Kommen wir nun zur Kurzfassung von How2Podcast bei Maple.
Disclaimer: Im Publikum sitzen Unternehmer*innen aus verschiedenen Branchen, ich versuche mit diesem Podcast einen Überblick und einfachen Einstieg in das Thema und Medium Podcast zu ermöglichen.
Ich höre schon ewig Podcast, das war damals eigentlich nur im iTunes (auf dem Mac) möglich und bekam später immer Bedeutung auf Streamingdiensten und wurde Plattform übergreifend genutzt.

Über die Vorteile von Podcast´s und Audio SEO sprechen wir in Episode 1 und Epsisode 2.
Im Vergleich zu dem Jahr 2020 ist die Podcast Nutzung in Deutschland von 33% auf 43% angestiegen. Die Podcaster*innen kämpfen in den Chats um die Top100 und Audioplattformen wie Spotify werden zu einer Art Suchmaschine. Dies ermöglicht es auch Unternehmen, gerade mit Nischenprodukten oder Leistungen eine Community an Hörern zu gewinnen und auf Ihr Thema aufmerksam zu machen. Im Gegensatz zum Radio ist die Hörerschaft im Vergleich zu Radio zwar noch „klein“, dennoch ist die Tendenz wachsend, der Erfolg ist messbar und die Kosten überschaubar.
„Knapp 28 Millionen Menschen (39,5 % der Bevölkerung ab 14 Jahren) haben Podcasts schon einmal genutzt. Die Tagesreichweite ist mit 6,2 Prozent Reichweite aber noch relativ gering, da das Hören von Podcasts, im Vergleich zum Radiohören, seltener zur täglichen Routine gehört.“

Ein Cover kann aus einem Foto, Grafik, Stock- oder AI-Generated Bild bestehen. Wichtig ist die Auflösung und das Format.

Die Website (wir arbeiten mit Podlove) oder der Dienst z.B. Podigee (12€/Monat) erzeugen einen RSS-Feed und senden die Daten an die Plattformen wie iTunes, Google Podcasts, Spodify & Co.

Es kann sein, dass Podcast-Dienste bei den Podcast gleich für dich verteilen, wenn du es selbst anmelden möchtest, such dir deine Streaming-Plattformen raus und hinterlege deinen RSS-Feed.

Podcasts sind ein spannendes und vor allem einfaches Medium, die eigene Expertise und Personality nach außen zu tragen. Der Konsum von gesprochenem Audio-Content steigt, Plattformen wie Spotify, Google Podcast und Apple Podcasts werden dabei ähnlich wie YouTube zu Suchmaschinen. Nutzer geben Interessen- oder Themengebiete wie in der navigationalen Suche bei Google direkt in das Suchfeld von Spotify ein und suchen so nach Podcasts eines bestimmten Themengebiets, wie z.B. „Marketing“.
Aber für welche Branchen ist Podcast-Marketing wirklich sinnvoll?
Ich spreche mit Jan Schulze-Siebert (LinkedIn) über die Möglichkeiten und Vorteilen von Audio-Content (also Podcast´s) für Unternehmer. Wer sich für das Medium interessiert aber nicht unbedingt selbst einen eignen Podcast-Kanal starten möchte, kann Podcasts dennoch für sein Marketing nutzen.
Zum Beispiel als Experte und Gesprächspartner in einem Themen-Podcast oder als Sponsor eines Kanals oder einer einzelnen Folge.
Jan ist Experte für Content-Creation und Podcast Marketing, in seinem Blog Digital Affin schreibt er über die Möglichkeiten und Vorteile der Digitalisierung aufgeteilt nach Kategorien wie die Digitalisierung für Personaler, für Geschäftsführer, Reisende bis hin zum Fußballtrainer.
Jan ist wie ich ein großer Podcast Fan und so ist er in seinem Podcast Digial Affin zu hören und ist regelmäßig zu Gast in Expert-Talks in diversen Podcast-Channels.
Zusammen mit seiner Co-Founderin Annika Bors (LinkedIn) hat er die Plattform HalloPodcaster gegründet. Dort können sich Podcaster untereinander vernetzen, ihren Podcast vorstellen und ihre eigene Expertise und Person als Gesprächspartner anbieten. Das selbsterklärte „Motto“ auf der Startseite „Wir vernetzen Podcaster und Experten für grandiose Interview-Episoden“ erklärt eigentlich einfach und schnell den Zweck und Vorteil dieser Plattform.
Podcast-Interessierte die das Medium besser kennenlernen möchten, sich für Podcast-Kanäle als Gesprächspartner anbieten möchten oder für den eigenen Kanal einen Experten suchen, können auf HalloPodcaster.de Kanäle und Experten zu nahezu allen Themen finden. Jan gibt Tipps für das Vernetzen, den Inhalt und Aufbau des Gesprächs und die anschließende „Vermarktung“ des Contents.
Audio-Content kann einen echten SEO-Bonus für die eigene Webseite bringen, wenn man einige Inhaltliche und technische Anforderungen beachtet. Google präsentiert in den Suchergebnissen (SERPS) auch Podcastfolgen, sofern die Meta-Daten SEO-freundlich hinterlegt sind.

Viele Unternehmen vergessen bei der Konkurrenzanalyse oft den Blick auf die eigene Plattform (Webseite oder Onlineshop) und können den Weg zum warmen Lead im Sales-Funnel nicht mehr nachvollziehen.
Es geht los mit der einfachen Nutzer- und Unternehmensidentifizierung des Besuchers auf der eigenen Webseite. Ich erhalte klare Informationen über meine Besucher, deren Branchen und das jeweilige Interessen- und Themengebiet auf meiner Webseite.
Das Tool ist perfekt für B2B Unternehmen jeder Größe, selbst kleinere Unternehmen können auch ausschließlich nur mit Leadinfo als Tool arbeiten, da es alle wichtigen Informationen und Features für die Vertriebsunterstützung liefert. Größere Unternehmen profitieren von der Integration und Schnittstellenanbindung an Ihre eigenen Plattformen und können so Kampagnen und die Akquise zielgerichtet steuern.
Die Weiterentwicklung wie z.B. die Heatmap-Funktion, die eine farbliche Kartierung von beliebten und weniger beliebten Content auf der Webseite erstellt sind, die Datenpflege, Sprachen und der Support ist ein für mich ausschlaggebender Grund um sich für ein Tool zu entscheiden. Leadinfo ist keine eierlegende Wollmilchsau, das Team konzentriert sich bei Ihrem Projekt der Lead Identifizierung ganzheitlich auf das Thema Analyse, Marketing/Vertrieb (bzw. Leadgenerierung) sowie die Optimierung der Customer Journey. Es hilft mir, meine Zielgruppe besser zu verstehen und meinen Content und meine Kampagnen besser zu planen.
Meine Empfehlung an alle B2B Unternehmen lautet: einfach mal testen.

Unsere heutige Story aus unserem Agenturtagebuch kommt aus der Kategorie SEO Sünde.
Unser Platz 1 geht an eine Agentur, die immer noch mit einer Keywordliste als nicht sichtbare Keyword-Cloud im Web-Code auf der Webseite gearbeitet hat.
Im Maple-Agenturtagebuch sprechen Veronique Weber und Hendrik Zymolka über einen möglichen Workflow, der für das On-Page-SEO oder gar beim Relaunch von Webseiten und Webshops beachtet werden sollte.
Es empfiehlt sich, dass der Kunde (am besten eine Projektgruppe) zusammen mit dem SEO-Experten der Agentur über die branchenrelevanten Keywords spricht und eine Keyword-Recherche erstellt. Dabei sollten schwache wie starke Keywords der Branche, der Konkurrenz und eventuell aus den gesammelten Nutzerdaten berücksichtigt werden.
Design, Nutzfreundlichkeit, Performance, Sicherheit und Funktionen müssen ebenfalls im SEO-Konzept berücksichtigt werden.
Wer glaubt mit ein paar kleinen Hacks den ultimativen Hebel in Sichtbarkeit und Auffindbarkeit ohne viel Arbeit und regelmäßige Pflege zu erreichen, der glaubt auch an die Wunderpille, mit der man so viel essen kann, wie man will und dabei ohne Sport ganz einfach abnimmt.
Der Glaube an Mythen sorgt für ein schlechten Shape, egal ob es der eigene Körper ist oder eben die Sichtbarkeit und der SEO-Rank der eigenen Website.
On-Page SEO ist ein Prozess von steigender Performance, wachsendem Content und einer coolen Userexperience, einer sich ständig verändernden Community.

Eine sorgfältige Keyword-Recherche gehört zu einem guten SEO-Konzept und sollte in regelmäßigen Abständen durchgeführt werden.
Search-Engines crawlen und erkennen den vorhanden Content und können diesen mittlerweile bewerten und zuordnen.
Die Ergebnisse helfen bei der Strategie- und Content-Entwicklung und verschaffen einen ersten Eindruck über die Konkurrenz und den Markt.
Die Recherche ist zeitintensiv und sollte regelmäßig überprüft sowie angepasst werden. Keyword-Analysen sind weiterhin ein wichtiger Bestandteil im SEO und der Content-Creation, die auf lange Sicht organischen Traffic und gute Ergebnisse in den SERP´s (Search Engine Result Page´s) bringen.
Content sollte aktuell und gepflegt sein, sonst wird man von der Konkurrenz überholt.
Unser Tipp: Keywords und Content sollten sich auf das Nutzerbedürfnis und das Suchverhalten ausrichten und nicht nach den „technischen“ Vorgaben der Suchmaschine.
Navigationale Suche ist eine gezielte Suche auf ein bestimmtes Thema oder Brand auf dem ein Inhalt gewünscht bzw. erwartet wird.
Informative Suche bezieht sich auf Informationen in Form von Multimedia Content (Videos, Podcasts), Downloads, Blogartikel usw.
Transaktionelle Suche erwartet eine direkte Leistung, in Form von Buchen, Kaufen und Kontakt aufnehmen.
Suchmaschinen erkennen die inhaltliche Bedeutung von Content und können in der semantischen Suche bessere Ergebnisse liefern.
Für die Analyse und Recherche der richtigen Keywords sind Keyword Tools hilfreich und helfen bei der Auswertung und Kategorisierung.
Das Ergebnis wird oft in Form einer Tabelle in Excel vorliegen, dabei sind Faktoren wichtig wie Keyword-Kategorien nach Brand, Leistung, GEO-Location, usw.
Bei Nischenkeywords muss man manchmal um die Ecke denken. Zum Beispiel könnte ein Nischenkeyword für den „Homepod“ von Apple „Bluetooth Lautsprecher“ oder „Lautsprecher von Apple“ lauten.
Oft geben Nutzer ihr Problem und nicht die Lösung in die Suchmaske ein. Daher kann es hilfreich sein, die Keywords auf das Problem zu beziehen und so den Nutzer abzuholen.
Keywordplaner helfen bei der Recherche und einer ganzheitlichen Keywordvielfalt.
Mittels Punktervergabe kann man zum Beispiel Keywordgruppen und Kategorien bewerten und dadurch selektieren.
Tipp:
Suchmaschinenoptimierung ist ein stätiger Prozess, mit der Zeit und dem Prozess kommen die Ergebnisse und Erfahrungswerte zur Optimierung.
Regelmäßige Recherchen zu Konkurrenz-Keywords und ein kritischer Blick auf die eigenen Inhalte (durch Dritte) sind ebenfalls wichtig, um den Überblick zu behalten und in den SERP´s präsent zu sein.

Yess, Recherche und Analyse von Keywords sind weiterhin ein wichtiger Bestandteil im SEO und ein relevanter Ranking-Faktor.
Eine erfolgreiche Costumer Journey führt nachhaltig zu organischem Traffic und der gewünschten Conversion.

Alle Tools haben gemacht, was sie sollten. Bei der Qualität der Daten gab es kleine Unterschiede, wichtig bei der Nutzung von Lead Tools ist unserer Meinung nach die Betreuung durch den Support bei der Einrichtung, Analyse und Pflege der Daten, aber auch die Schulung und Weiterentwicklung der Vertriebsprozesse und digitalen Verkaufskanäle.

Wie wichtig ist das Hosting, Server, Server-Standort und die Server-Config im SEO?
In unserer neuen Rubrik „SEO Sünde“ sprechen wir mit unserem Chef-Entwickler Steffen Flemming über ein Thema, das bei Projekten und Unternehmen oft zu kurz kommt.
Es geht um Performance, SEO Hebel, Sicherheit, Lösungswege, Technik und SEO Philosophie.
Der Kampf um den besten Platz in den SERPs (Search Engine Page Results) nach ganz oben ist nicht nur bei der Unternehmenswebseite groß, sondern gerade bei Onlineshops.
Die Lösung geht einfach und schnell, allerdings wird viel zu selten darüber gesprochen oder erst dann, wenn die Performance der Website fehlt bzw. die Absprungrate steigt.
Im Vordergrund sollte immer die Usability stehen. Wir alle wollen schnelle Ladezeiten, gerade bei Onlineshops.
Für die richtige Wahl der Hostinglösung gibt es Shared-Webhosting-, Cloudhosting-Lösungen, sowie Virtual-Machines und Dedicated-Server. Welche davon die richtige Hosting Lösung darstellt, muss anhand der Anforderungen für das Projekt geklärt werden. Auch CMS-Systeme wie Typo3 oder Webshop-Systeme haben bestimmte Anforderungen an das Webhosting.
Wichtig: Für eine gute SEO Performance sollte man aber nicht nur ein Häkchen bei den technischen Details und der technischen Umsetzung im SEO Check machen, sondern sich ernsthaft fragen, ob die Aufbereitung von Content und das gesamte Look&Feel meiner Website oder Webshop einen Mehrwert für den Besucher hat und eine positive Nutzererfahrung bietet.

Eine Umfrage von Mediaanalyzer zeigt, dass Konsumenten momentan sensibel und aufmerksam auf die Kommunikation von Brands reagieren.
Das Onlinemagazin Trés Click hat auf seiner Instagram Seite in den Stories und Highlights anderen Unternehmen die Möglichkeit geboten, auf Ihr Brand aufmerksam zu machen und Angebote zu promoten. Trés Click hat mit über 27k Abonnenten eine Reichweite und Community, die gerade für kleine Brands hilfreich ist.
Ein kleiner Pflanzenladen in Hamburg hat auf Kundenservice gesetzt. Über Instagram hat Winkel van Sinkel seinen urban jungle präsentiert und die Kunden online beraten. Kunden konnten via Videochat oder Foto ihren Raum zeigen und das Team hat die passenden Pflanzen angeboten. Die Bezahlung läuft natürlich easy via PayPal und es wird eine kontaktlose Lieferung mittels Kurier ermöglicht.
In unserem Case, eine Pressekonferenz für ein Produktrelease zu organisieren, haben wir eine online PK mit Chatroom Keynote und Releaseshow via Lifestream geplant, da die Journalisten nicht kommen können, dürfen oder wollen.
Es gibt ausreichend Technologien und genug kreative Lösungswege für eine agile Markenkommunikation.
