Mapping and logistics startup NextBillion, a geospatial data startup that provides software-as-a-service products for enterprises, raises $6.25 million from Microsoft venture fund M12. The firm’s investment extends NextBillion’s $7 million series A round. . NextBillion’s platform lets customers build custom maps for different users, as well as for unique use cases and geographies.Wejo is in talks to go public through a reverse merger with blank-check company Virtuoso Acquisition in a deal that would value the British connected car data start-up at more than $1 billion.Immuta, which provides a cloud-native data governance platform to help organizations automate data access control, security, privacy, and compliance, raises $90 million in series D funding. Immuta says it will use the investment to expand the size of its workforce, acquire new customers, and further develop its products. This brings the startup’s total raise to date to $169 million.
