This is the story of my second marathon.

After my first marathon in 1986 I thought the best way forward was to run one marathon in each decade of my life. Yes that was my original goal. So even though I kept running over the 12 years, the marathon goal was put in the back ground in the decade (1990s)of deferred personal goals when Nick and Ali were born.

The reality was I was still scarred from 1986 but I could no longer ignore the fact that I only had less than two years to run a marathon. So Jeremy a friend from Bowral who was now living in Sydney went with me and this is the story of this race.
