Marc Guiraud has 25 years’ experience in the field of European Policies and Regulatory affairs. He worked for industry trade associations in Brussels with a strong focus on European policies relating to industry and sustainability (LightingEurope and EDANA).

Marc is the first Secretary General of EucoLight, the European Association of lighting WEEE compliances schemes. He is responsible for the implementation of the strategy of the association, the coordination of its working group’s projects and in his advocacy role he represents the interest of EucoLight externally.

Marc has authored, co-authored and presented articles on sustainability, international trade and the approximation of European legislation. As part of his work with EucoLight he has organised and spoken at several events on sustainable WEEE waste collection and other aspects of circularity in his industry.
