Goliath was too big to miss if David stood firm in God. David had learned how to stand firm. David had laid the foundation of the scriptures in his life to be able to stand firm with his faith and confidence in God. We need to be prepared before the Goliaths of life come. With faith in God our goals are only a stone's throw away.
