Greg Belfrage expresses his frustration with the republican party and John Thune.  Trump has asked for the SAVE Act to be passed and John Thune refuses to do what needs to be done to pass the act.  John Thune won't get rid of the filibuster, and he also doesn't want to enact the talking filibuster because it won't work.  This frustration at nothing being done by the republican party is starting to push people further towards becoming an independent.
