Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.       Romans 12:1-2

Worship is About How You Respond To What He’s Already Done for You

A Living Sacrifice Is Ongoing

Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.          Romans 12:1

Transformation Requires Nonconformity

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.        Romans 12:2a

Renewed Minds Will Discern God’s Will

Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will.       Romans 12:2b

Personal Challenge

Surrender your doubts, questions and your fears to the Lord. Give them to Jesus and ask Him to work through them with you.

Recommit to Jesus this morning. Let God prune deeper and refine your heart. 

Surrender your self-reliance and receive the love and grace of Jesus.
