• Winds will pick up this morning and into the afternoon.
o SW winds at 20-30 mph won’t be that uncommon this afternoon.
• Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s. Record: 89 – 1963
• STORM TIMING:
o Baker county: 2 - 4 pm
o Nassau, Clay, Duval: 4 - 6 pm (moving NW to SE)
o St. Johns: 5 – 8 pm (8 pm offshore)
• Damaging wind gusts the primary threat. Isolated tornado possible.
• Greatest threat for severe weather is north of Jacksonville into SE Georgia
o Folks traveling north on I-95 today need to have a way to get severe weather warnings on the road. (FA WEATHER APP 😊)
• The line should generally be weakening as it makes its way to the I-95 corridor in NE Florida… though still the threat for an isolated strong to severe storm. Will update if that changes.
