Today we will read 2 Samuel Chapter 17. We will see David's helper giving what will seem like bad advice to Absalom and offer to kill King David himself! We will see God making his advice seem bad and see God provide safety for the priests who are taking a message to King David.  We will also see God provide for David and all the people with him by getting him to a safe place and sending people to provide food and bedding for them once they arrive! In our discussion today we will talk about God using everything for good and always being with us. Our New Testament parallel is that Jesus tells us He is with us always,  even to the end of the age!  God is always with us! We are never alone! And God will provide for us,  like He did for David and the priests, even when things are tough!
