Today's reading covers 1 Samuel chapters 18-19. Today we will be introduced to Saul's jealousy of David and David's respect for Saul as his king. We will see that God is with David in everything he does and this is causing Saul to be very jealous of David and want to kill him. In our discussion today we will talk about the importance of not being jealous of others when we see that God is with other people and they are successful. We will talk about not coveting other peoples success because it is God who is in control.
