• About 70 people gathered at Memorial Park in Wenatchee on Sunday to protest recent U.S. and Israeli military strikes on Iran, joining anti-war demonstrations held across the country.

• The early access lottery is open for the North Cascades National Park. 

• There’s a new sheriff in town. Tyler Caille, the Douglas County undersheriff for the last seven years,  was sworn in this morning by County Commissioner Dan Sutton.
