March 21, 2021 Sermon: The Trial Before Pilate
In order to have Jesus eliminated and put to death, Jesus had to be on trial before the Governor, Pontius Pilate. The church leaders presented their case as strongly as they could, but Pilate still saw Him as innocent. But the leaders convinced the people the only valid judgment would be to crucify Jesus! Pilate sent Him to the cross to suffer and die for us to pay the price of our sin. Because of Jesus, you and I are set free and forgiven. We’re free now and forever!
