Is He who you have made Him to be in your mind? Or is He the God of Scripture? Who is God,
really, to you? Matthew shows us that
Jesus is King.
In Matthew 8, Jesus has just healed a man with leprosy. Nobody wanted to be around people who had leprosy…but
Jesus did. They were unclean, and that’s
who Jesus wanted to hang around. Jesus
was the only one that could take away the pain and anguish. If Jesus becomes big in our lives, then
everything else becomes small.
